How does it work?

The Glow Tanning Co’s Nasal Tanning solution and Oral tanning drops provide enhance the skin’s natural pigmentation by increasing melanin production, therefore also increasing the skin’s tolerance to the sun/UV light. The Glow Tanning Co’s LUXE tanning solution is suitable for all skin types, even the fairest skin tones. The Glow Tanning Co’s formula will trigger the skin to produce extra melanin/darker pigment no matter how fair the complexion and helps with reducing hypersensitivity to UV.

The Science

The Glow Tanning Co’s Premium tanning solution promotes melanin production in the skin. Its advanced formula helps to leverage the skin’s potential to naturally tan to a golden bronzed complexion. The human body naturally processes and converts amino acids and tyrosine through the enzyme tyrosinase. This is how our body naturally produces melanin. This process causes the skin to darken in colour turning a gorgeous golden/olive-brown.

The Glow Tanning Co’s premium tanning solution is specifically formulated to increase the bioavailability of this enzyme and substrate amino acid Tyrosine, all of which are required for melanin production. By increasing the bioavailability in the skin, the amount of melanin produced is increased, this is how we achieve that golden brown complexion.

The Glow Tanning Co’s premium luxe tanning solution is absorbed by the nasal membrane and sublingual glands. The Glow Tanning co’s luxe formulation has microscopic molecules small enough to pass through these membranes which are ideal for optimal absorption.

Our LUXE tanning solution requires a minimal amount of sun exposure whilst still getting optimal results.

When we increase eumelanin levels in the body, only a very minimal amount of sun is required to achieve that golden bronzed complexion. The Glow Tanning Co’s Luxe formulation and premium quality sets us apart from all other tanning methods/products on the market. Melanin production also plays an important biological role by providing protection against damage from the sun. Melanin helps protect the cells of the epidermis, or the outer layer of the skin, from UV light. This protection extends to all forms of UV light (UVC, UVB AND UVA) as well as blue light. It does this by absorbing the UV light before it’s able to damage the sensitive DNA of the skin cells.

It works by increasing the levels of pigment in your skin known as melanin. Melanin forms a vital part of your body’s natural response to the harsh sun, and when the level of this pigment is increased, this results in the skin darkening in colour, also known as tanning. The Glow Tanning Co’s specific formulation is stimulating and accelerates your body’s production of the skin darkening pigment also known as melanin. This pigment absorbs the ultraviolet radiation from the sun and therefore darkens the skin. Our Tanning range is also packed full of Vitamin A which helps supports the skin’s immune system and promotes natural moisturising. Vitamin C helps improve the texture of your skin and promotes collagen.
